Projects
I am currently looking for collaborators. Contributors can be either project specific or ongoing band members.
The first project is one I’ve been working for some time now. It’s a cover album called Ruined Classics Vol. 1. Below you will see the track listing and previews (if there is one). I’ll also list status and what still needs to be done for the tracks. Some are complete in terms of structure but you feel you have a sound that might fit better in the mix then feel free to share.
Tentative track order
Sam Cooke - A Change is Going to Come: I want this song to be just an organ and vocals. The organ parts are laid out. Need male or female vocals.
NoMeansNo - Red on Red: I’m still working this song out. I think I got the key and bassline down.
U2 - Pride: Track complete needs male or female vocals. I may replace some of the synth patches used.
The Flirtations - Nothing but a Heartache (Everyday) - Chord structure is laid out. Strings, bass, horn, drums, and female vocals needed.
Nina Simone - Feeling good: Instrumentation is close to completion needs female vocals.
Slayer - War Ensemble: Just need more samples of GW being GW, drum loops, and male vocals.
Sugar - JC Auto: I have the structure and the guitar parts layed out currently working on the bass and drums. Needs male vocals.
Duran Duran - The Chauffeur - Track complete needs female vocals. The tempo is about half of the original.
The Sisters of Mercy - Temple of Love: Song is complete needs both male and female vocals. Some instruments might change.
Possible additions or replacements:
The Smiths - How soon is now?: The tracks are completed but I think it’s way too close to the original. Male or female vocals needed and possible overhaul.
The Cure - 100 years: Tracks are completed but it seems dull to me. Needs vocals and possible overhaul.
Depeche Mode - Blasphemous Rumors: Also done but waaaaaaaay to close to the original. Vocals and probably overhaul needed.
The Cranberries - Zombie: Track complete needs female vocals.
The second project is Ruined original songs. I had an idea for new record called Citizen and it was going to be somewhat of a concept album about the state of the world in various point of view. I wrote one song before my production machine crapped out and I lost a large number of my sequences. There is a new song that I just put together and I may use it to restart Citizen.
New song:
The Ferryman 1 2 : I’m posting two version the first one is with the original drum loop and the second is with the drums programmed. The string loop in the chorus is more a place holder and probably will not be the actual chorus.
